Poison has once again dissolved in the air of Delhi, where the AQI has crossed 450 in the very poor category. Today i.e. Tuesday, the AQI of Delhi is 418. From Monday night itself, the situation in Delhi started worsening due to pollution and the air quality deteriorated. Due to this, the Graded Response Action Plan i.e. GRAP-4 has been implemented once again in Delhi.
29 areas of Delhi are in the red zone, where the AQI is above 400. These include AQI- 449 in Alipur, AQI- 465 in Anand Vihar, AQI- 456 in Ashok Vihar, AQI- 465 in Bawana, AQI- 447 in Burari Crossing, AQI- 429 in Mathura Road, AQI- 401 in Karni Singh, AQI- 447 in DTU, AQI- 427 in Dwarka Sector-8, AQI- 434 in ITO, AQI- 466 in Jahangirpuri, AQI- 412 in Jawaharlal Nehru, AQI- 426 in Major Dhyanchand, AQI- 412 in Mandir Marg and other areas as well.
Here too AQI is above 400
AQI in Mundka is 432, AQI in Narela is 441, AQI in Nehru Nagar is 461, AQI in North Campus is 431, AQI in Okhla Phase-2 is 433, AQI in Pratapgarh is 444, AQI in Punjabi Bagh is 452, AQI in Pusa is 419, AQI in RK Puram is 427, AQI in Rohini is 462, AQI in Shadipur is 420, AQI in Sonia Vihar is 445, AQI in Vivek Vihar is 458, AQI in Wazirpur is 449.
Slightly less in these areas
Only NSIT Dwarka has 288 AQI but it is also in bad condition. Apart from this, Dilshad Garden has an AQI of 316 which is less than 400 but above 300. Similarly, Lodhi Garden has an AQI of 310, Lodhi Road has an AQI of 361, Najafgarh has an AQI of 357, Sirifort has an AQI of 390, Sri Aurobindo Marg has an AQI of 376, Aya Nagar has an AQI of 353. These are the 7 areas which have an AQI of more than 300 and slightly less than 400.
GRAP-4 rules implemented
In view of such a situation, strict restrictions have been implemented under the fourth phase of GRAP on Monday. This information has been given in an official order. In this way, with the implementation of GRAP-4, all public projects like construction work and demolition will be banned. Along with this, once again the entry of trucks carrying non-essential goods has been banned in Delhi.
