Actually, this case has been registered against Arvind Kejriwal for his statement of ‘poisoning the water of Yamuna’.

An FIR has been registered against Arvind Kejriwal in Shahbad police station of Haryana. A person named Jagmohan Manchanda has registered a case against Kejriwal. According to the information, Arvind Kejriwal had given a statement about Haryana poisoning the water of Yamuna river. Now the police have registered a case against Kejriwal in this matter under sections 192, 196 (1), 197 (1), 248 (a), 299 of the NS.
What did Kejriwal say?
According to PTI, Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that the BJP is trying to keep the people of Delhi thirsty by doing ‘dirty politics’. He had said – “BJP people in Haryana are mixing poison in water and sending it to Delhi. If the people of Delhi drink this water, many people will die. Can anything be more disgusting than this?” The Haryana government had talked about filing a case on this allegation of Kejriwal. At the same time, the Election Commission had also asked Arvind Kejriwal to present evidence in support of his claims of Haryana mixing poison in the water of Yamuna river.
