Humanity has once again been shamed in Delhi. In fact, a case of alleged sexual harassment of a girl student in a school bus in Anand Vihar area has come to light. In view of this incident, the police have registered an FIR against the driver, conductor and a school employee. Giving information about this case on Wednesday, an official said that the private school has lodged a complaint with the police regarding this incident. Actually, this incident happened when the girl was going to her home in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad by sitting in the bus.
Minor abused in a moving bus
Delhi Police said in its statement, ‘In this case, the parents have not come forward to give a written complaint to give full information about the incident and to take legal action.’ According to the statement, keeping in mind the severity of the crime, a case has been registered against the accused bus driver, bus conductor and a school employee under section 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. Police said that further investigation is going on in this matter. According to the information, this abuse was seen with a student of Vivekananda School on Wednesday.
Family members avoiding police action
An information letter has been given to the police regarding the misbehavior with the student, which contains the statements of the parents, in which the parents have refrained from taking any kind of police action. Let us tell you that the parents of the student are coming to give any written complaint for legal action. However, keeping in mind the seriousness of the matter, the police has taken suo motu cognizance and registered a case in this matter. Let us tell you that a few days ago, three people gang-raped a girl in Sarai Kale Khan and Rajghat areas of Delhi. All the three accused have been arrested in this case.
