Delhi Case :The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in a park , Police say that the man has committed suicide.

Delhi Case:On Friday, the body of a man was found hanging from a tree in a park in South East Delhi. On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. Police say that preliminary investigation has revealed that the man has committed suicide.

At present, the matter is being investigated. Further action will be taken after this.

 

South East DCP Rajesh Dev said that prima facie it seems to be a suicide, but the matter is being investigated from all angles. The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Satya Narayan, a resident of Sanjay Colony, Okhla Phase-2. The deceased Narayan was a native of Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, it was found that he was suffering from chronic TB.

 

‘On Thursday midnight, wife told about his problem’

During interrogation, Narayan’s wife told that around midnight on Thursday, he told me about his problem. After this, he went out of the house. At the same time, today his body was found hanging from a tree. The DCP said that no injury marks have been found on the body of the deceased. Forensic experts have also been called to the spot along with the crime team for investigation.

 

‘Police is taking action under Section 174’

The spot was inspected and photographs were taken. It seems that Narayan has committed suicide. The post-mortem was conducted at AIIMS and the body has been handed over to the family members. As per procedure, further action is being initiated under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This section deals with police investigation and report on suicide.
