Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal filed a petition in the Supreme Court to extend interim bail, Kejriwal demanded extension of interim bail by 7 days

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to extend his interim bail. Kejriwal wants interim bail for seven more days. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed that Chief Minister Kejriwal has lost 7 kg of weight after his arrest. His ketone level is very high. These could be symptoms of a serious illness. In fact, the apex court has granted Kejriwal interim bail till June 1.

According to the Aam Aadmi Party, Max doctors have examined Kejriwal’s health. He needs to undergo PET-CT scan and several tests. Kejriwal has asked for 7 more days to get the tests done.

On May 10, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Kejriwal till June 1. He was in judicial custody in the Delhi liquor scam case. A division bench of Justices Sanjeev Khanna and Dipankar Dutta had given this verdict. In the Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal is campaigning for the AAP as well as the India Alliance. Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
