Now we will talk about Section 45 of PMLA. Section 45 of PMLA which CM Arvind Kejriwal has mentioned. Under it, all the crimes falling under PMAL will be cognizable and non-bailable, due to which the ED will have the right to arrest the accused without any warrant under certain conditions.

In an informal discussion, he said that if ED and Section 45 of PMLA are abolished, half of the BJP will leave the party. Vasundhara Raje and Shivraj Singh Chauhan will also form their new party. Said, “If section 45 of MLA is removed then the influx towards BJP will end. No one will join BJP.” Kejriwal has given this statement to BJP leaders when ED has summoned him several times for questioning in the alleged liquor scam.

Delhi’s Education Minister Atishi was also present in this lunch along with CM Kejriwal. Taking a jibe at BJP, Delhi CM said, “If section 45 of MLA is removed then the influx towards BJP will end. No one will join BJP.” CM Kejriwal was pointing towards those leaders who have recently joined BJP or who are likely to join BJP.
Kejriwal further said, “The leaders of BJP today… Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Vasundhara Raje will form their own party by evening if you blow up Section 45 of PMLA today.” Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been the CM of Madhya Pradesh and Vasundhara Raje has been the CM of Rajasthan. But even after winning the assembly elections in 2023, the party did not make him the CM.
