Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. The Prime Minister’s Office has released pictures of the meeting. Gupta, who became an MLA for the first time, took oath along with six ministers in a grand ceremony at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday. The BJP has come to power in the national capital after 27 years. After this meeting, CM Rekha Gupta also shared pictures with PM Narendra Modi on social media. Sharing these pictures on Instagram, Rekha Gupta wrote, Today I made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence. Under your guidance and leadership, the double engine government of BJP is committed to transforming the dreams of Delhiites into a developed Delhi by walking on the path of public welfare and good governance.
Kejriwal’s staff discharged as soon as the government is formed
Let us tell you that as soon as the Bharatiya Janata Party government is formed in Delhi, changes have started in all the departments. Rekha Gupta has discharged the temporary staff of all the ministries a day after becoming the Chief Minister. Now new people will be recruited in these departments. Such appointments are made on a temporary basis in all ministries and with the end of the tenure of the minister, the tenure of his support staff also ends. Along with this, the government has directed all the officers and employees to return to their original department. The previous government had deployed many employees and officials in different departments.

The order of the Services Department said, “All officers, employees and employees of various departments, organizations, corporations, boards, hospitals etc. who are ‘deployed in diverted capacity’ in the offices of the Chief Minister and Ministers will be considered relieved from duty with immediate effect and they will have to report to their respective departments, boards, autonomous bodies, corporations, hospitals etc. with immediate effect.” The order said, “The offices of the Chief Minister and Ministers will submit new proposals to the GAD. However, regular employees of DANICS, DSS and Steno cadre will continue to work in their respective offices under the newly appointed Chief Minister, Ministers till further orders.”
