Delhi Crime News: Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested interstate gangster Manoj Kumar alias Arjun. To catch the gangster, the crime branch team had laid a trap by posing as a model on Instagram. After months of talks, the gangster agreed to come to Delhi. The crime team, which was lying in wait, surrounded and caught the miscreant. Police said that Manoj has been a shooter of Gogi gang.
Two ultra-modern pistols and eight live cartridges have also been recovered from Manoj. Action under Arms Act has been started against the accused. Gangster Manoj is considered close to miscreant Deepak, who is lodged in Tihar Jail. The crime branch team had received information that the accused Manoj is active on Instagram. Head constable Dinesh and Sukhbir created a fake profile and described themselves as a model from Mumbai. After talking to the accused online for several weeks, the accused was called to Safdarjung Enclave area.
Interstate gangster arrested
Sub-inspector Anuj, Amit and other officers, led by Inspector Rakesh Kumar, laid a trap and caught the accused. Accused Manoj is originally from Mahendragarh district of Haryana. In 2005, Manoj along with Chamanlal carried out kidnapping and murder for ransom in Nangloi. The accused was sentenced to life imprisonment in the kidnapping and murder case. Manoj absconded after coming out on parole.

During his abscondence, he became an active member of Gogi gang and carried out several incidents of murder, robbery, looting and ransom in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. FIRs have been registered against Manoj in Nangloi, Shahbad Dairy, Narela, Begumpur and Alipur police stations. Manoj was also wanted by the police of Faridabad and Rajasthan. Recently, he was arrested by Rajasthan Police. He had hidden his real identity. The police is busy investigating the network of gangster Manoj.
