Delhi News: Delhi Police has exposed an international drug syndicate under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Delhi Police has arrested two drug suppliers. Delhi Police has recovered a total of 156.734 kg of high quality ganja (marijuana) in the car. Whose estimated price in the international market is around Rs 78 lakh.
According to the information received by Delhi Police, a drug syndicate run by accused Vijay and Amit was active in smuggling of illegal drugs in Delhi-NCR region. Through the informer’s network and technical analysis, the team sought details of this syndicate. With the help of Head Constable Ravi and SI Anshu, information about the smugglers was gathered.

Delhi Police formed a team and laid a trap near Raja Garden flyover. Vijay was arrested when he was going to hand over the consignment of ganja to Amit. He was in a white Toyota Innova Crysta car. When the car was searched following the legal procedure under the NDPS Act, 75 plastic bags were recovered, which contained a total of 156.742 kg (commercial quantity) of ganja. After this an FIR was registered.
Revelation in Delhi Police interrogation
Delhi Police investigation revealed that Vijay used to smuggle drugs for Amit. He used to bring ganja from Nagpur and hand it over to Amit, who used to distribute it in Delhi-NCR. Amit is a resident of Sonia Vihar.
Raid on heroin manufacturing factory
Delhi Police has informed that under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Anti Narcotics Cell team has raided a heroin manufacturing factory and arrested a smuggler. 508 grams of heroin, 4.9 kg sodium used in making heroin, 5.2 kg acetic anhydride and other raw materials have been recovered from the factory. The police team has already arrested 3 criminals in the case. A total of 1.236 kg heroin and Rs 5 lakh in cash has been recovered so far.
