Delhi: Delhi Aam Aadmi Party leaders held a meeting on June 8 regarding the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. During this, the top leaders of the party took feedback from the MCD councilors on the Lok Sabha elections and resolved to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level.

This time in the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party could not win a single seat in Delhi. Under the seat sharing with India Alliance ally Congress, AAP contested on four seats, while the old party fielded candidates on three seats.

‘AAP will continue to fight to save the Constitution’

Senior AAP leader and party’s Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) in-charge Durgesh Pathak said that a decision has been taken in the meeting to further strengthen the organization. He said that AAP will continue to fight with the people of Delhi to save the Constitution and democracy. He alleged that the Narendra Modi-led government is constantly doing injustice to Delhi.

‘Public opinion a lesson for BJP’

According to Durgesh Pathak, ‘The kind of public opinion the people of the country have given to PM Modi has completely shattered Modi ji’s arrogance. For the last 10 years, PM Modi has been doing injustice to Delhi. Hope that after this mandate, Modi ji will learn a lesson and return the rights of the Delhi government.’

Atishi targeted BJP

Minister in the Delhi government, Atishi, once again said about the drinking water crisis in Delhi that if the BJP’s Haryana government does not release the water due to Delhi by tomorrow morning, then the water supply in Delhi will be affected. This will cause trouble to the people. Earlier, Atishi had accused the Haryana government of conspiring against Delhi on the issue of water. She had said that the Delhi government is deliberately stopping the water due to Delhi.
