Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today flagged off the ‘Mothers on Wheels-Out to Heal the World’ vehicle from the Delhi Secretariat. The aim of this unique program is to connect the mothers of India globally and spread the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ and compassion.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “The feeling of a mother is to connect the entire family. She devotes her entire life to her children, family and husband, but often her own wishes and needs are not taken into account. The aim of this program is to give recognition to mothers and help them understand their role.”
She further said, “When the message of the mother of India goes around the world, the feeling of brotherhood will definitely be strengthened.” This initiative is an important step towards understanding and respecting the role of the mother amid the changing family structure.
What is the ‘Mothers on Wheels’ campaign?
