Delhi: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Atishi raised questions on the functioning of the BJP government and accused PWD Minister Pravesh Verma of abusing officers. Is the minister asking for commission from officers?

Delhi: Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Atishi raised questions on the functioning of the BJP government. She accused PWD Minister Pravesh Verma of abusing officers. The Leader of Opposition said that the minister is questioning the working style of the officers. She said that the officers of Delhi did better work in the then government of Aam Aadmi Party.

Atishi called it ridiculous that the officers did not listen to the ministers. She said, “For the last 10 years, the officers were doing better work. What has happened now that they are not working. According to the minister, they have stopped working for a month.” The senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party said that we are getting calls from the officers. Atishi said, “The minister is asking for commission from the officers. 10 percent commission on the new project will have to be given to the minister.”

‘PWD Minister Pravesh Verma is abusing officers’

The former Chief Minister said that the officers who do not give commission are being harassed. BJP ministers are involved in commission-taking. He said that no minister has the power to suspend an officer. The committee will take the final decision on suspension. The officer can be suspended on the basis of the Amendment Act. Atishi said that the threat of suspending the officers is being given for commission.

Atishi accused of taking 10 percent commission

The former Chief Minister said, “In the coming days, the officers of the Delhi government will try to get transferred. In 10 years, no minister of the previous government demanded commission from the officers. Every minister of the BJP government has fixed 10 percent commission. Officers are facing threats and pressure for not obeying the minister.”
