Was the priest’s wife murdered over a land dispute?
The deceased Kusum’s husband, Mahesh Sharma, told ABP News, “The reason for the murder is an old dispute over the temple land, and this matter is also being contested in court with the family living next to the temple. I have been the priest of this temple for the last 35 years, and this land belongs to the DDA (Delhi Development Authority), but the Kasana family living next door was trying to grab it. I had received threats from them several times, which I also complained about to the police, but nothing happened, and today this incident occurred.”

The deceased’s daughter demands an encounter for the attacker
The deceased woman Kusum’s daughter is inconsolable. She said, “My mother left saying she would be back in a little while, but she was murdered. Now I demand that the attacker be killed in an encounter, and those who instigated the attack should also be given the harshest punishment.”
