Delhi-NCR News: GRP Ghaziabad has taken a big action on the complaint of a mother and arrested the accused of kidnapping children. Last Monday, a woman came crying to GRP Ghaziabad to register a complaint, in which she told that a person kidnapped her four-year-old child Harshit from a platform of Ghaziabad railway station.
As soon as the complaint of child kidnapping was received, GRP Ghaziabad immediately registered a case on the complaint and a joint team of RPF and GRP Ghaziabad was formed to recover the kidnapped child.
Raids were conducted at many places by this special team to recover the child and due to these efforts, on Wednesday, the accused who kidnapped the child from Railway Station Ghaziabad was arrested by the joint team of RPF and GRP Ghaziabad and the kidnapped child was recovered.
In the initial interrogation, the arrested accused has been identified as Salman Khan son of Mohd. Masukh (24 years), resident of village Shimlapar and police station Chakan of Gaya district of Bihar. Apart from that, a mobile phone was also recovered from the accused, which the criminal had stolen from the mother of the kidnapped child.
During interrogation, the accused also told that he had met the child’s mother a day before the kidnapping, i.e. last Sunday, at Old Delhi Railway Station. After which, seeing the woman alone, the accused thought of stealing the child and selling him.
The accused told that he thought that he would get a good amount by selling the child and so he started roaming around the railway station with the woman. On the day of kidnapping, i.e. last Monday, when the child’s mother handed over the child to him and went to the washroom, the accused quietly left the station with the child and started trying to sell the child. After which, due to the promptness of the railway police, the kidnapper was caught.
