The pollution situation in Delhi is not improving. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is increasing rapidly day by day. On Saturday, the maximum AQI of Delhi was recorded at 480 in Anand Vihar. Delhi had recorded the highest AQI of 402 at 6 am yesterday. At the same time, today this AQI has increased to 480. AQI crossed 400 in 16 areas
On Saturday, AQI crossed 400 in 16 areas of Delhi, including Anand Vihar- 480, Ashok Vihar-414, Mathura Road-414, Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range-430, ITO-402, Jahangirpuri-419, Major Dhyanchand Stadium-424, Mandir Marg-419, Nehru Nagar-448, Okhla Phase-2- 453, Patparganj-442, Punjabi Bagh- 423, RK Puram- 418, Siri Fort-432, Vivek Vihar-459 and Wazirpur recorded AQI of 436. With this, the lowest AQI of 239 DDU has been recorded in Delhi.

Delhi-NCR GRAP-3 implemented
In view of the increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has implemented GRAP-3. With the implementation of GRAP-3, many things have been banned in Delhi. New construction and demolition have been banned in Delhi-NCR. Non-electric, CNG and BS-VI diesel interstate buses will be banned. Classes for children in government primary schools (up to class 5) in Delhi will run in hybrid mode. Water sprinkling will be done more rapidly on the main roads of the capital Delhi.
