Meteorological Department issued alert
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rain for Delhi in the next few days. The department says that the monsoon trough is formed around Delhi and it will remain till this weekend, due to which there will be light to heavy rain. According to the department, after this, next week this trough will again form towards the north, due to which light to moderate rain may occur intermittently in Delhi and surrounding areas next week.
IMD has informed that the intensity of rain will start increasing from the night of Sunday, July 13 and there is a possibility of heavy rain till July 17, this will continue till July 17, after which the rain will gradually start decreasing. Although the Meteorological Department has not given any warning regarding rain, despite this, people are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during rain and stay away from waterlogged areas.
