10 Arrested of Brar-Bishnoi Gang: Delhi Police has got a big success against the criminal module of absconding terrorists Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. The Special Cell team of Delhi Police took action and arrested 9 members of their gang. A minor boy is also included among them. Police officials say that this operation against the gang of Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi has been conducted in seven states – Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, due to which the contract killings being done by their gang. And other crimes can be prevented.
Police officials say that among the arrested people there are some who were earlier connected on encrypted chat platforms like social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. Earlier all of them used to carry out criminal activities at the behest of Goldie and Bishnoi.
Accused caught from 7 states
Police officials said that two criminals each have been arrested from Delhi, UP and Punjab. One person each was arrested from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar. The accused have been identified as Jaspreet Singh, Rahul, Dharmendra alias Karthik, Manjeet, Gurpal Singh, Manjeet Singh Guri, Abhay Soni, Santosh alias Sultan Baba and Santosh.
Used to commit many crimes like murder
Delhi Police officials said that they had received information that an international module is active in Delhi and surrounding areas on the instructions of Goldie Brar, who has fled abroad and Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in jail. Many heinous crimes like murder, extortion etc. were committed in these areas.
Used to talk through Facebook and WhatsApp
Police Commissioner of Special Cell of Delhi Police Pratiksha Godra said that Delhi Police was keeping an eye on the activities of this gang. Technical monitoring was done on these. In this, many conversations of the people of this gang sitting in different states came to light. In this conversation, all of them were conspiring to commit murder, extortion and other crimes. All of them used to talk through social media sites like WhatsApp and Facebook. These have also been confirmed. Pratiksha Godra also told that weapons have also been purchased by these gangsters.
Delhi Police had prepared many special teams
Police Commissioner said that to foil the intentions of these members of Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a case was registered under several provisions related to IPC on 24 April 2024 last month. To catch the people of this gang, many teams were also prepared and sent to various places from where these people used to carry out criminal activities.
Weapons were also recovered
Police Commissioner said that seven pistols and 31 live cartridges have been recovered from the arrested people.
