Delhi Police and Indian agencies arrested India’s biggest illegal arms supplier Salim Pistol in a joint operation in Nepal

In a joint operation of Delhi Police Special Cell and Indian security agencies in Nepal, the country’s largest illegal arms supplier Sheikh Salim alias Salim Pistol has been arrested. Salim Pistol was supplying sophisticated weapons from Pakistan to India for the last several years. Security agencies have also found evidence that Salim has links with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Dawood Ibrahim’s D Company.

Salim Pistol also supplied weapons from Pakistan to big gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi, Hashim Baba. He has even been the mentor of an accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

Arrests have been made earlier too

Salim was arrested by Delhi Police in the year 2018, but later he fled abroad. Recently, the Special Cell of Delhi Police got input that Salim is hiding in Nepal. Acting on this input, the security agencies caught him in Nepal.

Name also came up in Baba Siddiqui murder case
Salim Pistol’s name also came up in Baba Siddiqui murder case. Salim is a resident of Seelampur area of Delhi and his entire network was spread between India and Pakistan. Salim Pistol left his studies after eighth due to financial constraints. He became a car driver and got married in 1992.

• Arrested on 25 May 2000.

2. Armed Robbery (2011)

• Robbed Rs 20 lakh at gunpoint from a house in Jafrabad on 7 August 2011.

• FIR Number: 243/2011 | Section 395/397 IPC

• Arrested on 18 September 2013 and sent to judicial custody.

Security agencies have got a big success with the arrest of Salim Pistol. This arrest is being considered a big step against the illegal arms network operating in India. Now the security agencies are deeply investigating the network associated with him and his nexus with Pakistan.
