Delhi Police’s Crime Branch team has exposed the inter-state syndicate of making fake degrees. In this case, the police have arrested 5 accused. The syndicate of the arrested accused is spread across many states. The police have recovered 228 mark sheets, 27 certificates and other documents from them. The head of this gang is Vicky who used to operate from Rohini. He himself is 10th pass and used to operate a call center in Netaji Subhash Place. Vivek Gupta used to operate from Noida. Apart from this, Satbir Singh used to operate the center from Faridabad and Narayan from a different place. A partner of this group is lodged in a jail in Rajasthan.

Fake degree making syndicate busted

Let us tell you that this entire gang has been active for the last 2 years and has made and sold more than 5 thousand degrees to people so far. The Crime Branch has recovered digital data of making 5 thousand degrees from the phones and laptops found from the accused. Fake degrees of many big courses like BMS, B.Tech, B.Pharma were being made by the criminals. According to the information, different members of the gang were given different tasks. First, it was seen in which area the children are moving and where there are more coaching centers. There the accused used to take a room on rent and after that they used to get posters or pamphlets printed and distribute them at the centers. Apart from this, they used to contact some children through mobile.

What did the police officer say

Not only this, the gang members used to go to many coaching centers through fake ID cards and used to lure the children by promising to make degrees quickly. Let us tell you that in exchange for a degree, one to one and a half lakh rupees were collected and then the degree was given to the boys within one and a half months. Joint CP Crime Branch told that the members of this gang have made fake degrees of many universities so far. Those degrees have been sold to children. According to the police, so far many people have got government and private sector jobs on the basis of fake degrees. The crime branch is closely investigating this matter to find out how many people have got jobs through fake certificates so far and where are they posted.
