These days, politics is heated in Delhi regarding the plight of Yamuna. Every year, pollution of Yamuna is in discussion around Chhath festival. Regarding this matter, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday staged a unique protest against the AAP government. He took a dip in the Yamuna at ITO Ghat. Now he has developed allergies and other problems.
He reached Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital when he faced problems
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva took a dip in the Yamuna accusing the Delhi government of Rs 8500 crore Yamuna cleaning scam. During this, he apologized for the mistakes of the Delhi government. Since afternoon, Sachdeva had rashes on his skin, itching and difficulty in breathing. When he faced these problems, he reached Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where doctors have given him three days of medicine after examining him.
“Exposed the issue of corruption of 8500 crores”
On this occasion, Virendra Sachdeva clarified that his decision to take a dip in the Yamuna is not due to the upcoming elections, but he has exposed the issue of corruption of 8500 crores in the name of Yamuna. During this, he apologized to Yamuna for not cleaning it on behalf of the Kejriwal government. He also said that even though he is afraid of getting sick, the pain of the people of Delhi is more important to him.
Sachdeva promised that if BJP wins the upcoming assembly elections, they will develop the Yamuna Ghat on the lines of Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. For this, Yamuna Cleaning Authority will be formed. He alleged that the Kejriwal government had promised in 2021 that Yamuna would be clean by 2025, but there has been no improvement in the situation.
