In the country’s capital Delhi, there has been a threat of bombing a big school again. However, these threats are not new. Earlier also, threatening emails have been sent to many schools in Delhi. Many times these have turned out to be hoax calls. Now today, Delhi Public School (DPS) located in Dwarka received a bomb threat call. The school premises have been evacuated by the authorities as a precaution.
At present, a search operation is being carried out in the school premises. As soon as the information about the bomb was received today in Delhi Public School located in Dwarka, the police, bomb squad and fire department team reached the spot. This information was given by the fire service. It is being said that this information came to the control room at 7:24 am.
Students were sent to safe places
According to the officials, as soon as the threat call came, the school administration immediately informed the local police. Based on the information received from the police control room, a large number of police forces were deployed in the school located in Dwarka Sector-12. Students were sent to safe places. Their parents were also informed so that no rumours or panic spread.
A senior officer of Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said that as soon as the news of bomb threat was received, four fire engines were immediately sent to the spot. A security cordon was made in the entire school and its surrounding area. Then it was sealed. The police team and bomb disposal squad are searching every part of the campus. So far nothing has been found that is suspicious.
Panic and tension in the area
After this incident, panic and tension has spread in the area. Many parents have also reached the spot, who appeared worried about the safety of their children. Police say that this threatening call can also be from mischievous elements. The location and phone number of the call are being investigated. Cyber cell and technical team are also engaged in this matter so that the caller can be identified soon.
At the same time, news of bomb threat received in Shriram World School of Delhi has also come to light. Students have been sent back from the school. It is noteworthy that in Delhi and NCR, incidents of such threatening calls in schools and public places have increased in the last few months.
