The report said that due to the change in the liquor policy, the Delhi government has suffered a loss of Rs 2002 crore. This loss was caused due to many wrong decisions of the Delhi government. This loss was caused due to the policies of the Excise Department. There was laxity in issuing regional licenses, due to which a loss of Rs 940 crore was incurred. A loss of Rs 890 crore was incurred due to the re-tender process.

Many irregularities have been mentioned in the report. It has been said that 71 percent of the supply was in the hands of three wholesalers. The commission was increased by two and a half times. That is, it was increased from 5 percent to 12 percent. The security deposit was not collected properly, due to which there was a loss of Rs 27 crore. Apart from this, many other flaws were also mentioned.

Mohan Singh Bisht is sure to become the Deputy Speaker!

A proposal for the selection of Deputy Speaker will be presented in the Delhi Assembly today. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will propose the name of BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht from Mustafabad.
