Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra has announced additional relief for the craftsmen affected in the Delhi Haat INA fire. Let us tell you that 24 stalls were completely destroyed in a fire incident at Delhi Haat, INA late in the evening of 30 April 2025. After this incident, the Chief Minister had announced a relief amount of Rs 5 lakh to each affected craftsman.
Kapil Mishra said that an ex-gratia relief amount of Rs 5 lakh has been approved and a total amount of Rs 1 crore 20 lakh will be provided to 24 affected craftsmen.
Protection of the interests of craftsmen
Apart from this, Kapil Mishra announced further assistance and said that the 24 craftsmen whose stalls were destroyed in the fire incident. They will be allotted free stalls for six months at Delhi Haat INA for the period from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025. This allocation will be done through the lottery process. Kapil Mishra further said that our government is committed to protecting the interests of the craftsmen and providing them with the necessary support.
