Delhi Assembly Election 2025: After the Nishad Party from Gorakhpur in UP, the OBC (One India Citizen) Party is also ready to challenge the AAP in the 2025 assembly elections in the country’s capital Delhi. OBC Party’s National President Kalishankar has announced to contest on all seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. He said that he will field backward, Dalit and minority candidates on all 70 seats and will corner the AAP (Aam Aadmi) party on corruption and false promises. He told that the party has also got the ‘apple’ symbol.
In Gorakhpur, OBC Party’s National President Kalishankar said that the OBC Party is going to contest elections there for the first time on the demand of the people of Delhi. They will ensure participation according to caste-census and their population by giving prominence to OBC, SC-ST and minorities in their election manifesto. The caste certificate issued to OBCs is currently issued to people residing in Delhi before 1993. Whereas it is not issued to people who settled after 1993. OBC Party will work to get the certificate issued to them.
Kalishankar said that for him Nation is first. While respecting all castes and religions, he gives priority to OBC, SC-ST and minorities. The Constitution talks about welfare state. In welfare state, even if education, health, food and housing have to be given for free, it is the work of the state. If the government cannot bring a smile on the face of the last person of any caste or religion, then it is unsuccessful. Look at Arvind Kejriwal’s 2020 interview. He said that Yamuna is so dirty, by 2024 people will start drinking Yamuna water like Ganga water.
Accusing AAP government of corruption, Kalishankar said that the liquor scam has revealed how big corruption is. The treatment plant installed there should be investigated, commission has been taken there. Then their leaders will be seen doing under table deals with big factories. Their ivory is one thing to eat and another thing to show. He said that OBC party will win most of the 70 seats.
OBC party’s national president Kalishankar said that he has decided that whatever tickets he will give, he will give only to OBC, SC-ST and minority community people. He said that those parties turn around who are hungry for power. When it comes to alliance, all the principles of other parties are shattered. He will stick to his principles. He will not compromise with anyone. He will compromise only with those who will live up to the promises made to the public and their agenda.
