In the same month, on January 11, the land of Pakistan was shaken by an earthquake. Panicked people had come out of their homes and offices. The intensity of the earthquake that hit parts of Pakistan on January 11 was measured at 6 on the Richter scale. The Meteorological Department said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan. The magnitude 6 earthquake occurred at 2.20 pm local time. Its center was in the Hindukush region at a depth of 213 kilometers. Since October last year, Afghanistan has been shaken twice by earthquakes of intensity 6 and above.
The earth also trembled in the Indian areas adjacent to Pakistan.
