Earthquake tremors were felt in the national capital Delhi and NCR. Earthquake shook in many districts including Patna in Bihar. People felt the tremors at 6:40 am on Tuesday. People also felt tremors in Nepal and Tibet. Its intensity was measured at 7.1. The earthquake occurred 84 km north-northwest of Lobuche in Nepal, with a depth of 10 km.

Tremors were felt in Kathmandu, Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Kavre, Makawanpur and many other districts of Nepal. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be Nepal. People came out of their homes after the earthquake tremors. In recent times, there has been a significant increase in the incidence of earthquakes in many countries including India.
