According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors of the earthquake occurred at 8:27:43 pm on Monday night. The epicenter of the earthquake was at Latitude: 24.31 N, Longitude: 91.99 E at a depth of just 10 kilometers from the ground.

Tremors were also felt in these areas of the district

Mild tremors were felt in Unakoti district and surrounding areas like Dhalai, Khowai and North Tripura. Some local residents mentioned panic on social media, but local officials said that no major tremor complaints have been received.

Earthquakes more than 60 times in Tripura and surrounding areas
