Etawah: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Rajpal Singh Yadav died in a private hospital early Thursday after a prolonged illness. He was 73 years old. This information was given by SP’s national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav. Ram Gopal said on his social media handle X, “I am informing with great sadness that my younger brother Rajpal Singh has passed away untimely at 4 am today at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. His last rites will be performed in my native village Saifai this afternoon. May God give peace to his soul and give him a place in his feet. Om Shanti! ”
Know about Rajpal Singh-
Rajpal Singh Yadav was the younger brother of late SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav. Despite being a member of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family, Rajpal chose to stay away from active politics. He was known for helping the deprived and the needy. His wife Premlata Yadav has been the District Panchayat President and their sons are Abhishek Yadav alias Anshul and Aryan. Anshul has been elected District Panchayat President for the second consecutive time. Rajpal Singh’s body has been brought to his native village Saifai, where his last rites will be performed on Thursday evening.
Wave of mourning in Samajwadi family
Samajwadi Party informed on social media site X that – National President Akhilesh Yadav paid his emotional tribute to his uncle late Rajpal Yadav by bowing to his body in Saifai. There is a wave of mourning in the village due to Rajpal’s death. All the family members reached Saifai and had the last darshan of Rajpal.
Last rites will be performed near Mulayam Singh’s Samadhi Sthal
Apart from Dr. Ramgopal Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Shivpal Singh Yadav, Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, many party leaders and workers, including many family members have reached the village to pay tribute. At the same time, Rajpal Singh’s last rites will be performed near the Samadhi Sthal of late Mulayam Singh Yadav.
