Noida Farmers Protest: Farmer leaders have once again been detained from the zero point of Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida. The farmer movement in Gautam Buddha Nagar has again taken a new turn, the police have detained the farmers from the protest site. This protest was organized after the Maha Panchayat called by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU). The farmers were protesting over issues related to local land acquisition and anomalies in compensation and their rights.
At the same time, the protest ended after the farmers were detained, but at 12:00 in the night, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions. CM Yogi Adityanath clearly said that anarchy will not be tolerated, on the other hand, there is an atmosphere of tension among the farmers after the detention of the farmers. The spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union said that the fight will continue, calling it a violation of democratic rights, the administration has increased security in the area to deal with the agitators. Earlier on Wednesday (December 4), the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha who were arrested for disturbing the peace at Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida were released by the police in the evening. The police had arrested around 160 people on Tuesday evening, although many elderly, women and sick people were released from the jail gate on bail. In the absence of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, his son Gaurav Tikait addressed the Mahapanchayat, although Rakesh Tikait dodged the police in the evening and ran to reach the panchayat site on the Yamuna Expressway.
