Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday slammed the Congress in the Rajya Sabha. Responding to the discussion on the Finance Bill, she said that this time the Congress did not find anything in the budget that it could criticize. She said that the central government is committed to serving the country. Our aim is to benefit the people. Some parties criticizing the Center are not working properly for the people in the states ruled by them.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while responding to the comments of TMC MPs, said that those who are questioning about Achche Din, themselves come from a party that gave the slogan of ‘Maa Mati Manush’ but did nothing for the people. In West Bengal, cut money groups do not allow good schemes and works to reach the people.
Achche Din means tireless service to the country
Nirmala Sitharaman said that for us Achche Din means tireless service to the country so that people can get benefits. We are dedicated to Achche Din. People making allegations for political gains should ask the common people who have directly benefited from our schemes. Good days have not yet come only for those for whom governance means corruption.
Congress could not even find a concrete thing to criticize
The Finance Minister targeted Congress leader P Chidambaram’s comment in which he said that no one remembers the budget. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the oldest party has not been able to find anything concrete to criticize the 2025-26 budget. There are no such things given in this budget, with which the Congress can attack the central government.
