He has also promised to play an active role in this matter.
Nawaz Sharif will play his role
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif spoke to the media after meeting National Party President and former Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch at his residence in Jati Umra. Earlier, the two leaders also discussed the situation in Balochistan. Sharif said that he would play his political and democratic role in promoting peace in Balochistan.
Sharif will visit Balochistan
Nawaz Sharif said, “I will visit Balochistan and meet the angry people there. The issue of Balochistan is political and it should be resolved through political means only. Abdul Malik said that Nawaz Sharif’s role is important in view of the current situation in Balochistan.
Army Chief had said this
Sharif’s statement has come at a time when recently Army Chief Syed Asim Munir had assured foreign investors that Pakistan will provide strong security to protect their interests amid growing unrest in Balochistan.
