5 people from Maharashtra died in this terrorist attack. Hemant Suhas Joshi and Sanjay Laxman Lali were residents of Mumbai. While Atul Shrikant Moni, Santosh Jagda, Kastuba Gaanvote were also residents of Maharashtra. Sushil Nathaniel of Indore also died in the terrorist attack. He had gone to Kashmir to celebrate his wife’s birthday. Sushil was a branch manager of LIC.
Among the dead is Syed Adil Hussain Shah of Pahalgam. The terrorists have targeted only men in Pahalgam. They have not fired at women.

Meanwhile, Dilip Desle, a resident of Panvel, Maharashtra, also lost his life in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. BJP MLA Prashant Thakur said, ‘The sad and horrific attack that has happened in Jammu and Kashmir should be strongly condemned. Dilip Desle, a resident of New Panvel, has been reported dead in this firing.
At the same time, Prashant Satpathy, a resident of Balasore, Odisha, has also lost his life in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The deceased’s elder brother Susanta Satpathy said, ‘We got the information at around 3 pm. When we called the toll-free number, they just informed us about the death of my younger brother. I have no information about my younger brother’s wife or my nephew, where they are, the additional DSP has contacted me’.
Along with this, a person from Gujarat has also lost his life in this terrorist attack. According to the information, Shailesh Bhai Himmat Bhai Kadatiya, who was 44 years old, has died. At the time of the incident, his wife and two children, a son, a daughter were also with him, however, all of them are safe and have not suffered any injuries. Deputy Tehsildar Sajid of Surat District Emergency Operations Center gave this information.
Shubham Dwivedi, a resident of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, also lost his life in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. His cousin Saurabh Dwivedi said, ‘Shubham Bhaiya got married on February 12 this year and he had gone to visit Pahalgam with his wife. My sister-in-law called my uncle and told him that Shubham was shot in the head. It is also being said that the firing started after asking the name.
Along with this, an Indian Navy officer, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, is also among those who died. 26-year-old Vinay lived in Karnal, Haryana. At this time he was posted in Kochi, Kerala. He got married on 16 April. After marriage, he went to Kashmir with his wife Himanshi Swami and became a victim of the terrorists’ target here. As soon as the information about the incident was received, mourning spread in the family and the neighborhood.
