What did Manjhi say on the matter of law and order?
Manjhi said that as far as this matter of law and order is concerned, if now the lovers fight among themselves and commit suicide or if the lovers face any obstacle and kill their parents or someone else kills the lover, is it a matter of law and order? What I mean to say is that today the law and order situation is very good. There has been no communal fight here till date. Yes, some incidents have happened, a Patna businessman was murdered and whoever was caught was killed in an encounter. Was there ever an encounter during their rule? Encounters are happening today. You saw the incident that happened in Paras Hospital in Patna, there was a lot of uproar but everyone was caught in two days and action is being taken. When such incidents happen, the government works. One more thing, of which we ourselves are eyewitnesses, the criminals of that time and the victim were called to Ek Ane Marg and ransom was taken from them. Today, no one has the courage to go to Ek Ane Marg. What I mean to say is that today there is peace. We are doing development. The opposition is not getting any issue, so they raise this issue. The people of Bihar are understanding everything.
What did Manjhi say about Chirag Paswan?
On the other hand, about Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) supremo Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that what is the economic, social, educational status of the group that Chirag Paswan talks about? If he does not know, then I will tell you. The educational status of Bihar is generally 80 percent literacy and the literacy of Scheduled Castes is directly 32 to 33 percent. The literacy of the society from which Chirag Paswan comes is directly 32 to 33 percent. Some people have 40 and 42 as well. But the educational status of Musahar Bhuiya, about whom Jitan Ram Manjhi i.e. Bhuiya Musahar, is only 7 percent. He should be upset about this. After 78 years of independence, today they are becoming doctors, engineers, MLAs and ministers and the people of this society have not become anything yet. Therefore, the Supreme Court has ordered that there should be classification in Scheduled Castes. I respect this order of the court and if someone says that we are breaking the society then we say that he is greedy. He is covetous. Such people do not want the people of our society to progress.
