Union Minister Giriraj Singh: Union Minister Giriraj Singh, while talking to reporters in Delhi on Friday, said that on February 16, the Prime Minister will visit Bharat Mandapam and address domestic and international buyers. ‘Bharat Tex’ will be held from February 14-17, in which more than 5,000 exhibitors will participate.
PM will address on the first anniversary
Textile Minister Giriraj Singh also said, “According to the vision of Prime Minister Modi, this is the first anniversary of Bharat Tex and in the first anniversary itself, Bharat Tex has become the biggest event in the world. We are also at the forefront of sustainability in the whole world.”

He informed that this time 6,000 foreign buyers are participating in ‘Bharat Tex’, which is double compared to last year. This has made it the world’s largest textile fair. Buyers from more than 110 countries and more than 1,20,000 visitors are expected to attend it, including policy makers and people from the industry.
Bharat Tex was started in 2024
Let us tell you that last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated one of the largest global textile programs ‘Bharat Tex-2024’ in Delhi. Bharat Tex-2024 started from February 26 last year and continued till Thursday, February 29. It was started at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.
