Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has apologized for his strict attitude with the doctor of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Along with this, Goa CM Pramod Sawant has clarified that the doctor of GMCH will not be suspended. Earlier, a video of Vishwajit Rane had surfaced, in which he was expressing his displeasure at the doctor and also talked about suspending him. After the video of this incident surfaced, there was a lot of uproar and now the Health Minister has given clarification.
Goa CM Pramod Sawant said that he has reviewed the matter. After this it has been decided that the doctor of GMCH will not be suspended. He has spoken to the Health Minister. He assured the people of Goa that no action will be taken against Dr. Rudresh Kuttikar.

Pramod Sawant wrote on social media platform X, “I have reviewed the issue at Goa Medical College and discussed it with the Health Minister. I want to assure the people of Goa that Dr. Rudresh Kuttikar will not be suspended. The state government and our dedicated medical team are fully committed to ensuring the highest standards of healthcare for every citizen. We also appreciate the tireless efforts and invaluable service of our doctors, who are working continuously to save lives.”
What is the matter?
On Saturday, a video of Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane went viral. In this video, he was seen reprimanding a doctor. He asks the doctor to take his hands out of his pocket and talk. He also scolds the doctor and asks him to remove the mask. The Health Minister says that the doctor should be suspended and someone else should be appointed in his place. He will sign the suspension file. He also says that no matter how much load you have, you will treat the patients well. However, later the minister had to give clarification on his behavior. Rane said his reaction was based on the patient’s complaint. He would not behave like that again.
