The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the widening of three roads in Ghaziabad by the Public Works Department (PWD).
The PWD has initiated the tender process for this project. 40 roads and connecting roads in Loni, Muradnagar, and Modinagar will also be repaired. This monsoon has damaged many roads in Ghaziabad. Connecting roads in Modinagar, Loni, and Muradnagar are damaged. Local residents are demanding the Public Works Department repair the roads.
The Public Works Department will carry out the road repairs. PWD Executive Engineer Rajaram stated, “In the first phase, 40 roads will be repaired. The tender process is underway.” Road repair work will begin in the first week of November. Approval has also been granted for the widening of three roads. The widening work will begin soon. The widening of the roads will provide relief to the public.
