If you are looking for a job in the teaching line, then this news will prove to be very beneficial for you. Recruitment has come out for various teacher posts in Assam. The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has issued a recruitment notification for Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary (LP) Schools and Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers and Hindi Teachers in Upper Primary (UP) Schools. However, the application process for recruitment to these posts has not started yet.

When will the registration start

Candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment from 15 February 2025. In other words, the application process for this will start from February 15. At the same time, its interested candidates will be able to apply till March 31, which is the last date.

Vacancy Details

A total of 4,500 teacher vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. This includes 2,900 posts for LP schools and 1,600 posts for UP schools.

What is the selection process?

The selection process for these posts will be merit based, which will depend on the academic performance of the candidates in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examinations, Graduation, Diploma in Education and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Separate merit lists will be published for each district and category on the official DEE Assam website.

What is the eligibility?
