Air pollution has also knocked in Delhi as soon as winter started this year. For the second consecutive day, the air quality in the capital has been recorded in the ‘poor’ category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), after Dussehra, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 224 on Sunday. At the same time, on Monday (October 14), the pollution level reached 234, which falls in the ‘poor’ category.

In view of this, instructions have been given to implement GRAP-1 in Delhi this year as well, it is being implemented from today. Along with this, many things have also been banned in the capital. Let us inform you that this phase includes a ban on burning garbage in the open, limiting the use of diesel generators and banning the use of coal or firewood in restaurants. Let us tell you that GRAP-1 is implemented when the AQI of the city crosses 200.
