Strength increased with the help of private sector

Dr. Sunil said that in the last two years, the participation of the private sector has greatly increased HAL’s aircraft manufacturing capacity. Talking about Tejas Mark-2, its design has been completed and now the work of making prototype has started. Dr. Sunil said, ‘Work is going on on the parts and structure of the aircraft. The structure will be ready by the first quarter of next year. Flight testing will start in the third or fourth quarter.’

Success of public-private partnership
