Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Campaigning for the assembly elections in Haryana is in full swing. Leaders of all political parties are making big promises and claims. A similar scene was seen during a meeting of Kaithal Assembly, where BJP candidate Leela Ram had come to appeal to the people for votes. However, during this time he was surrounded by questions about the poor condition of Kaithal roads.
Women asked questions
Actually, Leela Ram was asked that he had promised to build a hospital in the city, but the public’s question is how to go to that hospital? The condition of the city’s roads is bad. On this, the BJP candidate said, ‘Kaithal ranks third in the best roads in Haryana.’
The candidate said, “Our government has built 17 roads that connect Kaithal to one village to another. Not a single road is unpaved. Tenders were floated but work order was not issued because the code of conduct was imposed about 27-28 days ago. Roads were left to be built in some colonies, they will be built.”
On this, the women present there asked him on what basis should they vote for him? Roads have not been built yet. Promises are being made to build schools and colleges but we will go to study only when there is a road. The women said that we have waited for five years but no work has been done. The women did not stop here, they said that you should come with us once and see the roads. However, the BJP candidate did not go with them.
He said that the Naib Singh Saini government has done a lot of work, but we accept the problems that have been there at some places. These colonies have just been approved two-three months ago. Even today we have Rs 51 crore for roads, electricity, water and schools. We are not the people who will run away hiding our faces.
