Gurugram: A case of assault and molestation of a couple has come to light in a club in Gurugram, Haryana. After this incident, a case has been registered against 4 people. A senior police officer said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and efforts are being made to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage. According to the complaint lodged by the woman, a resident of Sector 102 here, the incident took place on March 10 when she had gone to a club in Sector 40 with her husband.
The woman said that while she was dancing on the dance floor, four men allegedly started abusing her. The woman said that when she protested, the accused not only beat her but also molested her. Officials said that based on the complaint of the woman, an FIR has been registered under sections 323, 354, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against four unidentified people at Sector 40 police station here on Monday.
