Haryana Assembly Election Results 2024: After the spectacular victory of BJP in Haryana and the defeat of Congress, political rhetoric has started. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha has taken a dig at the defeat of Congress in Haryana. He hinted that the AAP and Congress alliance has suffered a loss due to not contesting the elections together.
Raghav Chadha wrote on the social media platform X, “If he had cared about our wishes, it would have been a different matter, if he had taken care of our desires, it would have been a different evening. Today he too must be regretting leaving me, if he had walked together, it would have been a different matter.”
Which party got how many seats in Haryana?
Defying political estimates and exit poll results, BJP performed its best in the history of Haryana and won 48 seats. At the same time, Congress won 37 seats. INLD has won 2 seats, while three independent candidates also managed to win the elections.
Shock to Bhupendra Singh Hooda
Bhupendra Singh Hooda, four-time MP from Haryana, six-time MLA and considered the strongest contender for the post of Chief Minister of Haryana from Congress, got a shock on Tuesday when his predictions of victory proved to be wrong. In most exit polls, Congress was predicted to get majority but the results were completely different.
Let us tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party fought the elections together in Haryana. But in the assembly elections, the alliance could not be reached on many issues including seat sharing and both the parties fought the elections separately.
The results of Haryana assembly elections are also a shock for Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), as the party could not win a single seat. It is worth noting that votes were cast on all 90 seats in Haryana on October 5.
