Haryana Assembly Election Result 2024: BJP is going to form the government for the third consecutive time in Haryana. BJP has won 48 seats. At the same time, Congress was reduced to 37 seats. Who got how much percentage of votes?
The Bharatiya Janata Party has got 39.94 percent votes. At the same time, Congress has got 39.09 percent votes. BJP won power for the third time by taking just 0.85 percent more votes than Congress. More than 55 lakh 48 thousand 800 people of the state voted for BJP and more than 54 lakh 30 thousand 600 people voted for Congress. There is a difference of 1 lakh 18 thousand votes in the total votes received by both the parties.
Apart from this, if we talk about Aam Aadmi Party, it could not even open its account in the assembly elections, it got only 1.79 votes. BSP, which is contesting the elections in alliance with Indian National Lok Dal, got 1.82 percent votes. CPI got 0.01 percent, CPI (M) got 0.25 percent, Indian National Lok Dal got 4.14 percent, JJP got 0.90 percent, NOTA got 0.38 percent and independents got 11.64 percent votes.
Dushyant Chautala remained at fifth place
The 2024 election was the worst for JJP. Former Deputy CM and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala also could not save his seat in this election. He stood fifth in Uchana Kalan seat. He got only 7950 votes. He lost to the BJP candidate by 41018 votes. Congress state president Udaybhan also faced defeat. He was defeated by BJP candidate Harinder Singh by 2595 votes.
