Elections 2024: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, while targeting Congress’s ‘Jansandesh’ yatra in view of the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state, said that this election will prove to be the last election of Congress.
The destruction of Congress is certain in this election. He made this claim while addressing reporters here in Uchana. While countering the allegations of misuse of Enforcement Directorate (ED) by the opposition in the state, he said that the opposition leaders should first tell that when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had put Ajay Chautala, Omprakash Chautala behind the bars. Was that system correct then?
He said that when CBI arrested Dr. Ajay Chautala, he was not even a member of the Haryana government, but was an MP. Dushyant Chautala said that when Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister, leaders were put in jail across the country. Putting an end to the ongoing speculations about contesting elections from Uchana, Chautala said that he will contest elections from Uchana and he has spoken about this many times before.
What did Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala say?
Chautala also distributed checks worth Rs 83 lakh to eight cow shelters at Jai Baba Manshanath Gaushala here. When Chautala reached here, the workers and people gave him a warm welcome. Chautala also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various schemes in Uchana. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Rs 400 crore has been given to Gau Seva Aayog for cow shelters. There is no greater service than serving a cow. The government is continuously working towards modernizing the cowsheds. He said that the Gaushala Committee should also make products for the Gaushala at their own level, so that the Gaushala can have its own income and become self-reliant.
