In Gurugram, Haryana, a person stopped the work of electricity poles in Sector 56 by introducing himself as Special Duty Officer (OSD) of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. He called the SDO of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and introduced himself as Chief Minister’s OSD Virendra. The accused has also pressurized government employees in Chandigarh. When checked on True Caller, CM House is written instead of the name. Now a case has been registered with the police.

The police has registered a case against an unknown person. Police said that a case was registered at Sector 56 police station on the complaint of Satish Chand, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN).

Electricity poles being installed in Aravalli area

According to the complaint, Satish received a ‘WhatsApp call’ from an unknown number at 10:28 am on Tuesday. The caller, who introduced himself as Chief Minister’s OSD Virendra, said that electricity poles are being installed illegally in the Aravalli region and they should be removed immediately. The SDO said, “I informed my officers who started confirming the matter.

Meanwhile, the personal assistant of the Chief Minister’s OSD contacted us and told that the caller is also misleading his office by misusing the OSD’s name. We have contacted the police.” SDO Satish said that the installation of the pole was not such a big issue and there was no controversy about it. In such a situation, an attempt has been made to obstruct government work by pressurizing not to install the pole.

In this regard, a senior officer said that the police have registered an FIR and the investigation of the case is going on and the accused will be arrested soon.
