Home Ministry’s approval has been received to initiate further action against two senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain in the corruption case

New Delhi: After losing power in the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party has now suffered another setback. The troubles of former Delhi Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia and former Health Minister Satyendra Jain are going to increase. The Home Ministry has given approval for further action against both of them in the corruption case. Delhi Lieutenant Governor’s office has given this information.

The Vigilance Directorate Department of the Delhi Government had sought approval from the Home Ministry under Section 17-A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 for investigation against former Delhi Government Minister Manish Sisodia (Education). Similarly, permission was sought for further action against Satyendra Jain (former PWD Minister). In this case, permission for further action against both has been given by the Home Ministry.
