Benjamin Netanyahu has called a cabinet meeting regarding this attack. Houthi rebels have taken responsibility for the attack
Houthi rebels from Yemen have fired a surface-to-surface ballistic missile at Israel on Sunday morning. After this, sirens started ringing after the alert of the air defense shield installed in Israel, the sound of which was heard from east of Tel Aviv to Modiin. Houthi military rebels spokesman Yahya Sari has claimed responsibility for the ballistic missile attack.
According to the Israel Times, Houthi official Nasr al-Din Amer said that this attack revealed that Israel’s armor system was completely open to air attack. At the same time, after this, an investigation is being conducted by the Israeli security agency regarding the missile reaching Israeli airspace. The security agency is trying to find out why the missile could not be stopped before entering?
No one has been harmed in the attack
According to the report, the missile has damaged the Ben Shemen forest area. This caused a fire near Kfar Daniel, a few kilometers from Ben Gurion Airport. At the same time, a railway station on the outskirts of Modiin, about 25 kilometers east of Tel Aviv, is also reported to have suffered some damage.
According to Israel Times, the security agency has identified a surface-to-surface missile. This missile fell from Yemen to a deserted area in central Israel. IDF said that the missile attacked an open area, but there is no report of anyone being injured in it.
