Hurricane Milton may hit Tampa Bay in Florida on Wednesday i.e. today. Due to the storm, the authorities had ordered more than 10 lakh people to move away from the Tampa Bay area, the effect of which was that there was a situation of heavy traffic jam on the road and there was also a shortage of fuel.
Air traffic affected
Due to the storm, there is a possibility of 10 to 15 feet high waves on the north and south coasts of Tampa Bay. The US National Hurricane Center has forecast 254 mm or more rain, there is also a risk of flood. Air traffic has been badly affected due to the storm, about 900 domestic and international flights have been delayed. More than 1500 flights scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.
Coastal areas evacuated in Florida

US President Joe Biden urged those who have been ordered to leave Florida before Hurricane Milton arrives to immediately move to a safe place. He said that this could be the most severe storm to hit Florida in more than a century.
