The MP said that if you live in Goa, we will have to struggle for drinking water, we will not be able to get drinking water. People from outside the state should not plan to settle in Goa. Actually, a strange advice has been given to Indians by South Goa Congress MP Captain Viriato Fernandes. He recently held an important meeting with the officials of the Public Works Department to solve the water problem.
The Constitution was imposed on us
Earlier during the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2024, Captain Viriato Fernandes, the Congress candidate from South Goa, had given a controversial statement. He had said that when we got independence in 1961, the Constitution was imposed on us, of which we were not a part. While addressing an election rally, Captain Viriato Fernandes mentioned the conversation he had with Rahul Gandhi. However, Captain Viriato won this election.
