Indore: A shocking incident has come to light from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Here, the 40-year-old son of a retired policeman shot his younger brother during a dispute over money transaction on Monday and then committed suicide. A police officer gave this information.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vinod Kumar Meena said that in the Aerodrome police station area, Pravesh Sheikh (40) shot his younger brother Javed Sheikh (38) in the chest with his licensed 12 bore rifle and then shot himself with the same gun.
Pravesh died on the spot
Police said that Pravesh died on the spot, while Javed, who was seriously injured by the bullet, has been admitted to a hospital. Meena said that retired head constable of police Allah Noor Sheikh is the father of Pravesh and Javed.
He said that Pravesh did not do any work, while Javed drives an auto rickshaw for livelihood. The DCP said, ‘The two unmarried brothers used to fight over money transactions every day. On Monday also, there was a scuffle between the two brothers over the same issue. After this, Pravesh got angry and opened fire.’ He said that a detailed investigation is being done in the case.
